A Guide to the General Reading Room of the Podlaskie Library (Książnica Podlaska)

We invite you to the universe of the General Reading Room at the Podlaskie Library! In this film, the Manager, Eligiusz Buczyński, will guide you through our knowledge center, located on the second floor, right above the main lending room.

Explore a collection of 30,000 volumes in open access, 200 periodical titles, and 9 regional and national daily newspapers.

Key Subject Sections

Discover sections with specialized collections, including Law (featuring the latest codes), Medicine (with anatomy atlases, including those in Latin and English), as well as psychology, sociology, and philology. You will also see a special corner for high school students with textbooks for every class, focusing particularly on matura (final exam) preparation.

Workstations

Learn how to use our computer stations (including one for browsing Academica – the Digital Interlibrary Loan for scientific books and journals). Remember that one station is equipped with a scanner – completely free of charge! Tables are also available for group work.
